Caring For Fresh Flowers

To maximize the enjoyment of fresh-cut flowers:

  • Do not expose them to temperatures below 35 degrees and above 72 degrees. Keep them away from direct sunlight, drafts, air vents, and heat sources.
  • If water turns cloudy, replace with fresh, lukewarm water and cut all stems at a 45 degree angle.
  • If fower heads get limp, place a few drops of bleach in the water.
  • Once every 2-3 days, remove them from the vase and give the stems a fresh cut at a 45 degree angle. Rinse the vase; then refill it with fresh, lukewarm water.
